What the agent actually does.

Read the open orders
The agent reads the orders that are paid, with what was bought and when the money arrived.
Drop the ones handled
Anything already fulfilled, cancelled or refunded leaves the list, so nobody chases an order that went out.
Sort oldest first
The order that has waited longest is the one closest to a complaint, so it goes at the top.
Send the short list
Order number, customer and days waited, which is enough to pack it without opening the admin.

How do I find Shopify orders that were paid but never shipped?

Mitra reads your orders each afternoon and lists the paid ones with no fulfilment against them, oldest first. Anything cancelled, refunded or already sent is left out. You get the order number, the customer and how long they have waited.

Does Mitra mark orders as shipped?

No. Mitra finds the orders waiting and tells you, and the fulfilment stays with whoever packs the parcel. Marking something shipped tells a customer their order is on the way, so an agent must not do it on a guess.
